Adult Ministries

Rev. Mark Watson

We have numerous ways for adults to be involved within our congregation!  If you desire to help others, then volunteer at our Food Pantry or Thrift store.  Last year, our Food Pantry served over 2,500 families.  Those areas are always busy.  Can you give a few hours each week to help out?

We have an Adult Bible Study on Wednesday evenings that begins at 4:45pm.  The topics vary but right now we are watching the movie "The Most Reluctant Convert:  The Untold Story of C.S. Lewis" after that who knows!!!

Our Adult Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6pm and is always looking for new voices.  The choir is the best in the area and is under the direction of Mrs. Carolyn Hutcherson and accompanied by Mr. Rusty Helms.  Our Bell Choir practices at 4pm on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday morning begins with a time of fellowship around coffee and goodies in our Memorial Hall.  Sunday School begins at 9:30am and we have two classes for adults.  Marianne Callich leads one of the classes and they are currently watching "The Chosen" television series.  Our pastor, Rev. Mark Watson, gives direction to the second class.  This group is making their way through a book by C.S. Lewis entitled "Mere Christianity."  After the classes finishes Lewis' book, we will watch and discuss Max Lucado's "In the Footsteps of the Savior" which is a bible study that takes the participant on a video journey through Israel.

There are short-term classes and other events for adults of all ages. Watch our page for more information as it becomes available.
